Grace Romney Beals (American, 1869-1929) a Buffalo, NY artist known for her landscape paintings. She was born in Buffalo, NY and studied at the Buffalo Art Students League with Frank Vincent DuMond, John Carlson and John Bentley. She also studied abroad in Europe in 1929. She was a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists, and exhibited with and was a member of the Society of Independent Artists. She died in 1929 aboard the S.S. Carmania.
