Artist Statement:
My style of work is realistic and my subject matter is diverse. I paint objects and nature that I find beautiful and interesting. Detail is an important element in my work. Often it is the detail within or surrounding an object that magnifies its uniqueness. My intention is to generate recognition of how each detail of an object or nature contribute to our experiences and relationship with nature and the objects that surround us. My goal is to create beautiful images that engage the viewer on many levels. My hope is that you, as the viewer, will enjoy my work and that on some level it will resonate with you.
