Joan L. Horn (American, 20th C.-) Instructor of oil painting at Partners In Art at the Carnegie. April 2013 presented Color for Artists, a week long workshop in New Bern NC. In addition to oil painting , teaches workshops in color, perspective, and composition. Author of Complementary Palettes, The Color Charts.
Joan received her B.S. in Art Education, State University College at Buffalo, NY. and she apprenticed with master painter John Yerger (American, 1935-2017) at the Yerger Studio in North Tonawanda, NY. Workshops included Hongnian Zhang Lois Woolley, Roberta Remy, Thomas Kegler, Ylli Haruni.
