Monica Angle has exhibited works combining painting, printmaking and bookmaking in galleries and public spaces, including the University of Virginia Art Museum in Charlottesville, Virginia, City Hall in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Massachusetts State House. She has works in private and public collections including the Burchfield Penney Art Center, the Minnesota History Center and the Walker Art Center.
Monica was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1962. She attended Harvard College, received a master's degree in geography from Pennsylvania State University, and studied printmaking and bookmaking at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Monica lives in Buffalo with her husband Sam Magavern and their two daughters.
