Angela M. Occhino-Ginnitti (American, 20th C.-) is a Western New York artist, painter, sculptor, commercial & fine art photographer, printmaker, digital artist & stop motion animator, ceramicist, lecturer and art educator. She studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York earning her MA of Science for Teachers, Art Education (2007), the State University of New York at Fredonia, Fredonia, New York with a BA of Fine Arts (2005, Summa cum Laude), and also received her New York State Visual Arts Initial/Professional Certification (2007). She furthered her professional development at the Lorenzo de’ Medici School of International Education in Florence, Italy, studying early Renaissance Art and the Italian language (2004) and at The International Center of Photography in NYC in the course “The Interpretive Documentary Photograph”, taught by Lauren Greenfield (2003).

She has taught art along with some photography courses in many New York school systems including; State University of New York at Fredonia (2003 & 2005); Margaret’s House Early Childhood Learning Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY (2006-2007); Webster Central School District, Thomas High School, Webster, NY (2007); Victor Central School District, Victor, NY (2007); East Irondequoit central Schools (2008-2009); and was most recently an art teacher for several years at the Springville-Griffith Institute High School, Springville, NY (2007-2012) and is currently an art instructor in AP Studio Art at the Holland Central High School, Holland, NY (2014-Present). In addition, she was a graduate assistant at the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY (2006-2007).
